SECTION 84

The dissolution of a cooperative, for whatever reason, must be declared to the administrative authority in charge of the Register within one month in order to have it recorded in the Register of Cooperatives in which it was registered. The same shall apply for the nullity of the cooperative from the day the decision thereof was made. The removal must be requested by the liquidator within a period of one month from the close of the liquidation operations. Failing to request theremoval within the prescribed period, the competent administrative authority in charge of the Register of Cooperatives shall proceed with the removal based on the decision of the competent court acting from a petition of the authority or any interested party. Any removalshall be published in a newspaper empowered to publish legal notices.
