The conversion of a cooperative is the operation whereby a cooperative changes its legal form
by a decision of the cooperative shareholders.
Regular conversion of a cooperative in another form of cooperative shall be governed by this
Uniform Act and does not create a new legal entity. It only stems from theamendment of
itsarticles and shall be subjected to the same conditions of form and time limit that are governed
by the provisions of this Title.
