The creditor shall be bound to keep the asset withheld in good state.
Notwithstanding the preceding paragraph, he may by order of the competent court given upon
an urgent application proceed to sell the asset where the state or the perishable nature of the said
asset so requires or where the cost of keeping the asset is disproportionately higher than its value.
In that case, the possessory lien shall be transferred to the proceeds of sale which shall be
consigned.
