SECTION 5

(1) The following entities may be economic zone promoters: - the State and its agencies; regional and local authorities; - trades chambers; - employers' associations; State universities and private higher education establishments. 5 '1 -, ~.("'<--" s '.I~ •• ",.~.,~ (2) Within the framework of bilateral cooperation, a reque st for the establishment of an economic zone may be directly made by foreign investors organized into a Common Initiative Group (CIG). (3) Trades chambers and employers' associations may request the establishment of economic zones on behalf of their members organized into Economie Interest Grouping.
