(1) Regional councillors whose election is challenged shall remain in office pending a final decision.
(2) Where cancellation of all or part of the election is final, electors shall be convened within no more than 60 (sixty) days of such cancellation.
(3) Only the lists of candidates that took part in the general elections shall be allowed to participate in the by-elections.
