SECTION 79

The following shall have the status of judicial police officers: (a) officers and non-commissioned officers of the gendarmerie; (b) gendarmes in charge even in an acting capacity of a gendarmerie brigade or gendarmerie post; (c) superintendents of police; (d) deputy superintendents of police; (e) gendarmes and inspectors of police who have passed the judicial police officer's examination and taken the oath; (f) public servants even if they are temporarily performing the functions of head of an external service of the National Security.
