SECTION 725

(1) Where a minor aged more than fourteen (14) years but less than eighteen (18) years is found guilty, the court shall, by a reasoned decision: (a) pass sentence in accordance with the provisions of sections 80 (3) and 87 of the Penal Code; Courtesy of the Cameroon Center for Demoncracy and Human Rights – CCDHR: www.ccdhr.org 163 (b) order one of the measures provided under section 724 above. (2) (a) In the case of a non-suspended term of imprisonment, only probation may be ordered in addition. (b) The probation order shall take effect after the term of imprisonment has been served.
